What: The Positivity and Relaxation Training (PART) program is a 9-session Live Zoom weekly group education program that helps participants develop skills to manage stress and

cultivate a more positive outlook. Whether remote, in-person, or hybrid, we recognize the extreme changes and stress that teachers are experiencing.

Tuition:  Winter 2021 TEACHER GIVE BACK  - Three monthly payments of $47 per month, typically $227 per month, each month for 3 months. We are thanking our teachers and acknowledging your stress while trying to do the best for kids in

extremely challenging circumstances.

The PART program offers a deeper dive into relaxation techniques designed to manage the physiological impact of stress on the body, thereby increasing overall health, happiness and general wellbeing. Since roughly 60-90% of all doctor visits are stress-related (or derived), the need to enhance our resiliency and manage stress is vital. And in the (upside down) era of Covid-19, it’s hard to think of a better time for people to have these skills! Building resilience and focus, and managing our stress takes practice. The PART Program is a 9-session (90-minute per week) group learning environment that helps you practice these techniques in a safe, fun learning community.

The curriculum for the program is based on the research done by Harvard Medical School Professor Herbert Benson on the Relaxation Response and employs a variety of mind body techniques like meditation and mindfulness, physical activity and positive psychology; it also teaches adaptive thinking techniques and encourages creativity and humor.   We start with goal setting and each follow up session consists of a review of previous sessions and between session experiences, new skills teaching and practice.  As a participant in the program, you will also receive a Workbook published by the Institute to use as a guide throughout the program and for future reference.  Participants in the program report that it has helped them develop skills to manage stress and cultivate a more positive outlook.

This will be an opportunity to commit to and truly ingrain these invaluable techniques and interventions into your life.
